Seven Months

Another month! This silly girl is ready to move but hasn't quite figured it out yet. She can get on her knees but gets really frustrated when she can't go anywhere! She usually rocks back and forth or launches herself forward which usually ends in a face plant. Even though Olivia is definitely not crawling yet, she rolls all over the place!

Olivia took her first plane ride this month! She was amazing the whole trip. Such a good little traveler! Josh and I took her with us to Chicago for her cousin Brynleigh's baptism. It was a quick trip but it was great seeing our family and friends out there. We LOVED being able to finally meet Brynleigh! It was so cute seeing the girls together, there are definitely some strong Eggman genes that these two share. So fun that they are just two months apart! The boys can't wait for them to come to Tucson in May!

My Boys

I feel like I am always putting up pictures and writing about Olivia so I decided to do a special post on my sweet boys.

Parker is such a silly 2 year old. He plays really well by himself. Most of the time he LOVES playing with Colin and doing everything he does but he likes his quiet alone time too. He likes to line up his cars, books, stuffed animals, anything. I think he is going to be very organized ;). He loves books and lately he has been "reading" to Olivia. He like to sit in small spaces like boxes, behind pillows or get comfy in a corner. He is such a talker! I am amazed everyday at how many words he knows and the silly things that come out of his mouth. He is really sweet and likes to share.

Colin is my star athlete these days. He has been doing Karate for a few months and is so proud of his orange belt. He loves going to class and being able to yell as loud as he can and learning to kick and punch protect himself. He started playing soccer last week and loves it! He is fast, coordinated and naturally really good! It is kind of like an introduction to soccer. His team just practices once a week for an hour, no games. He still loves school and is doing great! His favorite “specials” are PD (physical development) and science. It is hard to believe he will be FIVE in just two months!

Beach Babies

We spend the last part of our Rodeo Vacation in Rocky Point. It was Olivia's first time to Mexico and the beach! We had a great time swimming, playing on the beach and relaxing.

Rodeo

Colin had the whole week off for Rodeo so I came up with a few projects to keep the boys busy. Thanks to Pinterest, we weren't too bored all week! We made cowboy puppets, cactus picture, shoe print horses and took a little field trip out to the ranch to see some real horses! I even incorporated our Rodeo theme into our menu for the week with Cowboy Casserole, BBQ chicken and Root Beer!

6 months

Half a year! How did that happen?! At her 6 month check up Olivia weighed 14lbs 2oz (14%) and was 26 1/2 inches long (72%). Long and lean, pretty much how my boys have measured too. She is eating cereal twice a day. We are working up to three times and then we will start to incorporate real solids! Can't wait to break out my Beaba Baycook Baby Food Maker! Still no teeth but I'm fine with that since I am mainly nursing.

Olivia is so strong sitting up on her own. The only thing that usually makes her fall over is one of her brothers racing by and throwing her off balance :). She loves when Colin and Parker play with her. She is always laughing and smiling at them. We have been going to the park a lot lately since the weather is so nice and Olivia loves it! I put her in the Baby Bjorn and she kicks and smiles the whole time watching her brothers run around.

Getting Olivia dressed it one of the highlights of my day! If you are on Facebook, sorry for the crazy amount of pictures I put up but I can't help it! Every time she grows into another size or a new season, I get excited! I have been trying to control my self lately since everyone has started putting out spring/summer clothes. Baby bikinis! Who can resist?!!

The worst virus has been invading our house for over a week! First Colin got it and missed almost a week of school, then Parker for a few days and now Olivia has it the worst. Fevers, runny noses, coughing, throwing up, you name it. Luckily it never turned into anything too serious but my poor babies have all been miserable!
