fun day

we had such a fun day yesterday! cody came over in the morning and brought stuff to make pancakes for brunch and colin had his first pancake! i made him a couple of little ones that were the perfect size for him and he LOVED them!





it was such a nice day in tucson that we spent the rest of the day outside. we love the warm weather!

so, i put this cute little outfit on colin this morning and all of the sudden he looked like a big KID! i can't believe how big he is getting. Also, he was having kind of a crazy hair day...his hair in the front was totally sticking up so i decided to give him a little mohawk. here are a few shots from this afternoon.....

i have been working on signing with colin lately and today he did his first sign!

oh yeah...

colin can climb stairs! i kind of accidently taught him how and now he races up them no problem...i think we are in trouble!

9 months

another month has gone by too fast but colin just keeps getting more fun! he crawls soooo fast i can hardly keep my eye on him and he is still pulling himself up on every piece of furniture or person in the house. if he has something to hold on too he will walk a little but he does not seem very interested in walking on his own. (probably because he knows that someone is always right there to pick him up and carry him…so spoiled! ☺) we have had a few exciting milestones this month…
he is really starting to use his hands. i am sure most of you saw the video clip of colin waving bye bye. i love it! when ever anyone says “bye” or “go” or even starts to leave a room, there he is waving even if no one is looking. he also just started to point a few days ago. most of the time it is copying me pointing at something or pointing at himself in the mirror. colin’s newest trick is clapping his hands! he only really does it if you say “pattycake”. my mom and josh’s mom both do pattycake with him a lot when they babysit so i guess he finally caught on!
and finally…we have teeth! i am pretty sure colin has been teething since he was four months old and finally his bottom right tooth broke through a few weeks ago. then yesterday i noticed his top right had broken through and this morning i could see his bottom left tooth! when it rains it pours, i guess and that can definitely explain the many hours of sleep i am NOT getting.
i can’t believe we have had colin this long but i also can’t imagine our lives with out him!
