The boys thought they were getting up for school but instead they got to open an early Christmas present; a trip on the Polar Express! We stayed at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel in Williams, Arizona and were lucky enough to be there for the first snow of the season! It made the experience magical! The train ride to the "North Pole" was so much fun. They played the narrated version of the Polar Express, everyone sang Christmas carols, they served served hot chocolate and delicious chocolate chip cookies made my Mrs. Claus herself! When we reached the North Pole, Santa got on the train and visited each and every kid. They even got a bell as a gift from Santa! The next morning we couldn't stay long because there was a big snow storm coming and we didn't want to be stuck. But we did stay long enough to play in the snow a little and of course have a snowball fight :).
