sweet summer

one of the best things on these HOT summer days is ice cream! my sisters and i took colin to dairy queen for his first ice cream cone yesterday...and boy did he love it!

leo is 3!!

colin's big brother is three today! this morning we took leo to petsmart to pick out a new toy and he even got some sausage for breakfast ;). we love our little leo!

my oldest little sister turned 25 on friday! love you kell and can't wait till you come home!!!!!!

squinty eyes and tons of teeth!!

this is colin's new look...he makes these squinty eyes at everyone. he usually does it to me when i tell him he can't do something.

get a load of these teeth!!! i was pretty sure his other top tooth had broken through and it is usually pretty hard to get a good look. today i got a great look and this is what i saw!!! its like his whole top row of teeth are all coming in at once!

tori is a wakeboarder!

a few weekends ago a few of us went to the lake again. my sister kelly is the best wakeboarder and helped coach tori so she got up and stayed up for a long time!!! yay tori!

ouch...again

(i think this might be a title you are going to see a lot)
today was a crazy busy day. not because i had a lot to do but because i have the tazmanian devil for a child. this was basically our day: grocery store, running, screaming, trying for 45 minutes to take a nap, not taking a nap, learning to climb on the ottoman, then learning the ottoman had wheels while half way on it, pouring water all over the floor, sitting in it, putting the shorts mom took off to dry in the dog's water bowl, phones ringing, dogs barking, "washing" our hands in the toilet...you kind of get the picture??? i was totally exhausted and ready to call it a day when i looked at the clock and saw that it was only 11:30am!!!!!!!!!!! we hadn't even had lunch yet!

of course it would only be fitting to end the day by falling off the couch and hitting the coffee table and a cardboard box that was being used as a step ladder.
but don't worry...a popsicle makes everything better :)

wii

just wanted to show all of you colin's new favorite game. he even makes sound effects when he swings the wii controller (or anything else). it was so cute to watch him "play" with tori and her friend...he really thought he was playing tennis and bowling!!
