Road Trip

We took a fun road trip to Utah for baby Harper's blessing.  I piled the kids (and Yia Yia ;) into the car and made the long 12 hour drive.  We decided split it up into two days so it wouldn't be as tortuous for the kids, but even with a baby and a brand new potty trained two year old, they all did surprisingly well!  

Of course we had to make a few pit stops...

We were so excited to finally meet baby Harper and be there for her blessing.  We had so much fun with cousins! All the kids play so well together!  

Thanks so much for having us Herbert Family!!  Can't wait to see you all soon!

Lala Land

My sisters and I decided to all meet up in LA and surprise Kelly for her Birthday!  It was so hard to keep it a secret but she had no idea and was totally surprised!  Tori and Kelly just moved in together so we helped them with a little organizing around their house and did some sightseeing in their new neighborhood.  We had a fun weekend and even saw a couple celebrities!  Kelly had to work an event on sunday for Ban.do so Tori and I got to be her interns :).  It was a great weekend with my sisters!  I hate that they all live so far away but it just makes trips like this that much more fun and special!   

10 Months

Our sweet girl is growing up so fast.  

Olivia has done a lot this month!  She can give a hi-five and wave bye bye and Olivia said her first word- "Uh oh", quickly followed by her second word, "Mama"!!  It's the best thing in the world to hear her say that!  She is babbling a lot and tends to get louder if she thinks no one is listening or if her brothers are being loud.  So funny, just trying to get a little attention (which she doesn't demand that often).  

 

She has such a sweet, calm and cute temperament.  I am so thankful for that!  She is also sleeping great!  Unless she is cutting teeth, she sleeps through the whole night.  Olivia has four teeth now; two bottom and two top. She is eating a bunch of new foods with those teeth.  It takes her a while to get used to any new textures.  She is usually pretty dramatic about it and gags or spits it out as soon as it's in her mouth.    She is getting sturdy standing by herself and has almost taken a step without holding on to anything.  I am sure she will be walking soon and then we are really in trouble!  Just trying to take her pictures today was crazy!  She never wants to sit still.  Thankfully, her brothers were here to help make funny faces and distract her.

Happy Father's Day!

Reay Family Reunion

The first weekend in June, we have our Reay Family Reunion.  I think this year was my favorite so far!    I love that every year there are new family members, more babies, and crazier (I mean bigger and better :) themes! Can't wait for the next one! 

There was so much fun stuff planned for the weekend.  We played cards, had a picnic at the beach, made snow cones, ate lots of yummy food and a big had Luau on Saturday night!

One of the activities we did at the Luau was a hula hoop contest.  It was really fun and cute to watch all the kids (and some adults ;) get into it.  Colin was seriously amazing!  Who knew?!! I started to film everyone but couldn't take the camera off him.  He looked so cute and funny and was so serious about what her was doing.  Love this kid!

Thank you to my mom and aunts for all your hard work planning, organizing, shopping, etc.!  The weekend was amazing!  

Nine Months

Love this girl!  Olivia crawls SO fast and stands up every chance she gets.  She thinks she can let go and stand on her own, but usually falls pretty quick.  Two days ago, she decided she could walk along the fireplace! I didn't even realize she was doing it until she was standing right next to me.  Slow down Olivia!!   She is eating pretty much all the same foods as last month, just more of them :). We did introduce some yogurt and she LOVES puffs.  It is hard for me to believe that Olivia has been here for as many months as she was in my belly!  Love my sweet baby girl!!   

FIVE

Colin is FIVE!!!!

He had an awesome party at Pump It Up with his friends and cousins. Colin wanted a Robot theme so we decided to make robots for the party including one that was almost as tall as he is! We had pizza, nuts & bolts (chex mix) and of course cupcakes.  All the kids has a great time jumping, playing and being crazy :)  

It's hard to believe my baby boy is FIVE!
