6 months old!!!

i can't even believe that colin is a half a year old today! it is amazing that he had learned so much in such a short time. this month colin learned to roll over...and over and over and over! i can't leave him on the couch or bed anymore because he practically jumps off! (thankfully he hasn’t yet but we have had some close calls). once he is on his tummy there is no staying still. he has started scooting around! it has mostly been around in a circle because he can’t seem to figure out how to use his arms but every once in a while he gets up on his hands and goes forward (a little). i am sure we will see him crawling in no time. he is also sitting up really well on his own and is starting to learn how to catch himself if he starts to fall back.


colin also started teething. real fun. the poor kid’s gums hurt so bad! he has been making some funny faces where he shows me his bottom gums and kind of sticks them out and grunts. t guess that mean "IT HURTS"! our friends told us about some teething tabs that have been helping (thanks hardys!) but unfortunately, we are no longer sleeping all night. colin usually wakes up at least once with either a fever and red little cheeks or talking really loud like he is ready to get up. thanks to those teething tabs or some tylenol we get to go back to sleep for a few more hours.

it is getting harder to keep colin entertained. one of his favorite activities is going to My Gym for mommy and me class. he is really starting to interact with the other babies (I guess that is what you call it… basically all they do is try to grab each other’s faces and put their fingers in their mouth’s ☺)

luckily, any trip where he gets to be pushed around in his stroller keeps him pretty happy. lately, costco is his favorite place to go! there is so much going on there he loves it! there is always something to look at and of course people love coming up and talking to him…he loves that. he is such a ham!
