so, I thought that our first day of colin eating cereal was a total mess. i had no idea….it just gets messier! i am starting to wonder if any he is actually eating any of it. colin’s latest trick is he is learning how to spit…yeah real cute, especially when he has a mouth full of cereal! after a while that stuff turns into cement. so we have started a routine of taking a bath after we eat cereal. i can’t wait for real food!

happy birthday josh!

josh is 29 today! we had a little birthday party for him and his friend mark last night...we all had a great time. colin loved it too and of course had the perfect shirt for the occasion!

cereal!

colin had his first taste of cereal yesterday! it got all over his face and of course he tried to put his hands in it too. he was making some really funny faces but he kept opening his mouth for more! here are some pictures of our messy morning.

i love all my boys

so, i am totally one of those blog haters. i never got it. why do people write stuff about themselves and stuff that happens to them for everyone to read? well, turns out...it's a great idea! now i am obsessed! i guess that just because now that i have pictures and stories to tell about my life that is suddenly filled with boys! i grew up in a family of all girls, and did girly things with my girly girl friends my whole life! then i got married two years ago and slowly the ratio has begun to dwindle. my husband josh is the oldest of three boys so i was already out numbered in his family. soon after Josh and I got married, we got the most adorable yorkie puppy. his name is leo. then four months ago we had our first baby...a boy! i feel like i just blinked and all of the sudden my house was filled with boys! something that definitely takes some getting used to for me. but i love my life and wouldn't have it any other way!

the new love of my life

colin joshua was born may 4th. he is getting so big already. at our last doctors visit he weighed 14 pounds 6 ounces. he is getting so strong too. just last week he figured out how to roll over from his tummy to his back! colin is such a smiley baby and hopefully he is getting used to me taking all these picture!
