some silly sleeping arrangements

a few weeks ago i went to check on colin during his nap and this is what i found...

these two always surprise me. some days they are wrestling, biting, kicking, and scratching and some days they can't get enough of each other


then, today when i was putting colin down for his nap he could NOT go to sleep without: a blanket, his lovey, three binkys, two pillows, two monkeys, two books, a dog, an elephant and a moose. looks a little crowded to me but thats what he needed to fall asleep today :)

California Dreamin'

we just got back from a GREAT vacation to california! two of our best friends, mark and jackie got, married near redondo beach so we decided to make a family vacation out of the trip! first stop...DISNEYLAND!! we (meaning very pregnant me) toughed out the 100 degree heat and had a fun day at the happiest place on earth. but most of all colin LOVED it!

we have had some pretty bad experiences with dressed up characters so josh and i were in total shock when we saw this!!

kelly drove down from LA to stay with colin while josh and i went to the wedding. she stayed for a couple nights so she got to have some fun with us!!




one day we went to a little beach water park and playground right across the street from our hotel!



















mark and jackie's wedding was so beautiful and we are so glad that we could be there to celebrate their special day with them!
