earth day

in honor of earth day, colin and i have been doing a few special projects. colin helped me sort the recycling and put it in the bin, i am not using ANY paper towels today (which, trust me is AMAZING), and we planted some flowers this morning!

happy easter!

we got to celebrate easter in rocky point this year! it was a fun and food filled day. we had peeps and candy as soon as we woke up, a delicious breakfast made by my uncle rod, had a big easter egg hunt, spent the day at the pool and my mom and aunt diane made a yummy easter dinner! it was a wonderful day!

it is the 40th anniversary of the sound of music my favorite movie of all time!! i found this clip on another blog and just HAD to share it! i don't know what the story is behind it but by the time it was over i was practically dancing out of my chair. if you loved this movie, i am sure you will be too! click here!
