fun with family

this weekend my cousin eric and his wife jessica had their tucson wedding reception. we always have a lot of fun when we get together with our family and saturday was no exception.

ok someone (kelly) had the great idea that we should all try and jump when the picture was taken. everyone's camera had like five flashes and took forever so we all look like idiots is all the pictures. it was hilarious

we finally got one with us jumping and look at kelly...she is like 5 feet off the ground and the rest of us are barely on our tip toes. it was her idea so i guess she just wanted to show off her hops. nice kell!

we just spent the whole week in mexico! it was so fun and relaxing and overdue! here are some pictures fro the week...

first week of the year

congratulations mr. & mrs. herbert!
my cousin eric got married this weekend in california. his new wife jessica is the best and she was a gorgeous bride! (eric looked pretty good too!) we couldn't be happier for them. it was a great weekend with all of our family!





while we were there our whole family (minus colin and my parents, he is definitely not ready yet) went to disneyland and california adventure. it was such a fun day!

8 months!!!

time really seems to fly! colin is already eight months old and is growing bigger every day! he is crawling around like CRAZY now. sometimes i can’t even keep my eye on him…he is sooo fast. soon after he really took off crawling, he was pulling himself up on everything. it is pretty funny because he will pull himself up on something and stand there forever!
i think i told you all about colin’s snorting. he does it when he gets excited or when he is showing off for someone. well, it is out of control now! it is the funniest thing, he does it all the time. and when he gets a big audience, he gets crazy!!! oh, and he ALWAYS has his mouth open and usually his eyes are wide open too ☺. it is so fun to see his little personality coming out. he is so fun and he loves everyone. he smiles all the time and can never get enough attention. colin is such a blessing in our lives and i love him more every day.

colin even takes bath like a big boy now. just him and the tub...and a few toys of course. he loves his rubber duckies and playing with cups.

2008!

happy 2008!!!
here are a couple of pictures from our new years eve...we had a little pizza party. josh made homemade pizzas and we played wii until midnight. pretty exciting huh! still, we had a lot of fun staying home and being together as a family. we even let colin stay up 'till 9:00!! as soon as the ball dropped we were all in bed.

on one of the last days of the year we all went to dinner with some of kelly's friends from high school...it was freezing so here we are all bundled up!
