We got to take the boys to a UofA basketball game! I think Colin's favorite part was all of us wearing our Arizona shirts and Parker decided it was more fun to find Wilber every 5 seconds instead of watching the game. The game wasn't that great but it was a fun day!

Five months already!

This really snuck up on me....FIVE months??!!

My smiley baby is getting so big! Olivia can almost sit up all by herself! She is strong enough for in her exersaucer now and loves to sit in it. She can grasp things really well now and puts everything in her mouth (of course!). All of the sudden she has started to notice Leo and can't take her eyes off of him when he is around.

Olivia is still a good sleeper. She wakes up once a night at about 3:00am and it is just killing me lately! I decided that at five months I would try and give her a little formula at the end of the day in hopes that she would sleep a little longer. I think I had the boys try formula for the first time at two or three months but for some reason this time I wanted to see how long I could go strictly nursing Olivia. She had her first bottle today and seemed to take it fine. So keep your fingers crossed that I get a FULL night sleep tonight!! I think she is almost ready for some rice cereal too!

Olivia's legs are always very busy kicking and moving around (just like they were in my belly :). Obviously my little ballerina is ready for her first dance class!

Our Winter Vacation

The day after Christmas we went up to the cabin for some fun in the snow. We had so much fun with all the family that was up there! The boys especially loved having my cousin Alexa to play with :). They went sledding, made snow angles and this great snowman! She was also our family photographer for the week. THANK YOU ALEXA for taking so many great pictures for me!!

We did a bunch of playing inside too. Forts, video games, movies and cards!

The best part for Colin was going snowboarding for the first time! It was the cutest thing ever. He got the smallest board and boots they had :)

Exhausted after his big day! He did really good. I was surprised how naturally he took to it. He is already asking me when it will snow again because he can't wait to go again!

Christmas 2011

We had an amazing Christmas this year! It was a long, crazy and wonderful two days of non-stop family, presents, food, and sweets. We started at 9:30am Christmas Eve morning and didn't stop until about 6:00pm Christmas night! By the time we were done, the kids were expecting dessert after every meal, candy for snacks and presents around the clock! We are just barely all coming down from our holiday hangover!

A few days before Christmas, this was sitting in our mailbox mixed in with a bunch of holiday cards and bills...

As soon as I saw it I knew who it was from. I was almost in tears. I'm sure there is a small part of everyone that wants to always believe that Santa exists, I definitely do! Now I have proof, he is real! Colin was excited but he figured most kids that send a letter to Santa get one back so he wasn't as extatic as I was. I don't know how they do it or who does it for that matter. The only thing Colin wrote on his envelope to Santa was

And we (yes, we. I was seriously so excited I decided the letter was to me too) got a hand addressed letter with a post mark from the North Pole! It was even signed by the man himself!

So THANK YOU whoever you are! I wish I could help do this for other kids or be a part of it in some way. It is so awesome and I'm sure makes so many kids (and their parents :) happy!

Colin wrote his letter to Santa and we put it in the mail the other day. He Asked for a dinosaur and mentioned that Parker wants a Superman and Olivia wants a princess. We'll see what happens! He couldn't wait for the mailman to come take his letter!

Seriously, I know she is my baby so I have to think she is adorable, but she is the cutest thing ever!! I can't get enough of her smiles. And now she is starting to actually laugh. Olivia loves when people talk to her. She smiles so big and pulls her shoulders up like she knows how cute she is. Usually when she is laughing, it is at her brothers. They are always making faces and being silly with her. The day after Olivia turned three months, she started taking a binkie. She seems to like it but not as much as her fingers :). If she could, she would get her fingers in there with her binkie!

She is kicking and squirming a lot these days and had recently discovered her feet. Well, actually her socks (since they are usually pretty colors and ruffly). She has also started moving around a lot. Sometimes when I get her out of her crib, she is totally turned the other way. And she is getting pretty good at rolling all the way onto her left side. I'm sure it is just a matter of time until she is rolling onto her tummy :) We are all getting really excited for the next couple of weeks. Olivia's first Christmas and first trip to the snow!

Bubble the Elf

Bubble is our Elf on the Shelf! He surprised the kids with a North Pole breakfast complete with reindeer doughnuts and hot chocolate! They were so excited to see their table set and have breakfast with Bubble. He even wrote them a little note :). I loved seeing their sweet sleepy faces light up. I can't wait to have an elf breakfast every year!

3 Months

Olivia is definitely not a newborn any more. She is very alert and awake more during the day and she kicks and coos and smiles at us like crazy! Just the other day she started to roll onto her left side. Her cheeks and her thighs are getting chubbier (my favorite :) and she is still eating and sleeping great!

Olivia got her first bling this month too...I got her ears pierced! She looks so pretty with her sweet little diamond earrings. She did great and only cried for a couple minutes. Brave girl :)

My Grandpa blessed Olivia on November 6th. It was such a beautiful blessing and we are so grateful that he was able to do that for us. Olivia looked like a sweet little angel and she was so good the whole day! It was such a nice day with our family.

Wolverine, Spiderman and a little Ballerina

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It is so much more fun when you have kids that get excited about it too! Colin has been pumped all month long. We started decorating the house on October 1st and all month added cute art projects that Colin made at school. Colin asked if he could do a Halloween "projeck" almost every day!

We had some family over to see the kids in their costumes and had a yummy dinner of brains and eyeballs (spaghetti and meatballs :), then we went trick-or-treating! This was our first year really trick-or-treating! Our neighborhood is great for it. The boys LOVED every minute! We only did a little loop around our block but it was perfect. Parker and Colin were running almost the whole way. Every time they rang a doorbell, Colin would say "trick-or-treat" pretty quietly and then shyly say thank you. Parker would run to the door, yell "TRICK-OR-TREAT, THANK YOU!, HAPPY HALLOWEEN" all at once, at the top of his lungs. It was the cutest thing. Luckily, our little 10 year old neighbor girl from across the street came with us to show the boys how it was done :). She was really sweet holding their hands and helping them.

Parker learned how to do this on Friday. All weekend he wouldn't stay in his bed to take naps and bedtime was a struggle so we decided to put him in a toddler bed! We are having a little bit hard time getting used to it but hopefully we will be back to sweet dreams soon :)

Parker had a Cowboy party this year. Thanks to my Mom and Aunt Diane, we pulled off another great party! Those two are so talented and creative. I don't think I would want to do a party without them! After I thought of the theme I knew we had to have it out at the Ranch, it was perfect! We had a few games, delicious food and a yummy desert table. It was such a fun night and I know Parker loved having all his friends and family there to help him celebrate turning TWO!!

Two months have gone by so fast! This month has been all about smiles and gas :). Olivia's smiles TOTALLY make me melt! I love seeing her smile! Unfortunately, her little tummy has been gassy and making her miserable. I don't know if it is from something I'm eating or what but hopefully it doesn't last long. Other than that, she is still eating and sleeping great!

Olivia got the best 2 month birthday present today...a new baby cousin! Brynleigh Lynne Eggman was born in Chicago this morning at 12:03. She weighed 9 pounds 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. We are so glad she is finally here and can't wait to meet her!

A nasty plague hit our house this weekend. Both of the boys were sick. First Parker then Colin. Fevers, coughing, throwing up, crying, whining, the works. Oh yeah-and Josh was out of town! It was just me to care for my sick boys and a newborn baby! I quarantined Olivia in her room, putting a gate up so the boys couldn't get in. I would go in there to feed her, change her, or move her (swing, play mat, crib) and every time I changed my shirt and sanitized my hands up to my elbows! I am so glad she hasn't gotten sick! Thank goodness! I don't know what I would have done if my 6 week old got sick! It was seriously the craziest and longest 48 hours of my life. It was so hard because EVERYONE needed me at once! It wasn't even like I could have had help because the sick ones mostly just wanted to snuggle with me and Olivia needed me to feed her. Hello! I have THREE kids! Nothing like sick kids to give you a reality check! They are slowly getting better but are still a little under the weather. Colin stayed home from school today just in case he still has a little something.

Parker on the other hand...WOW. He is not a good patient. He was VERY cranky and mean. He told me in his cute sick voice that he wanted his lovey and when I told him just a minute he got a crazy look in his eyes and yelled GET. MY. WOVEY!!!!!!! and was trying to push me off the couch! Holy moly. It was weird. I was half laughing and half terrified!

In three weeks my sweet baby boy will be two. I can't even believe how big he has gotten in the last month. I'm sure it has something to do with Olivia being so small, but I have definitely noticed that Parker is a little more grown up these days. He is giving Colin a little more competition when they wrestle. It is almost a fair fight! (yeah-I'm talking about wrestling like it's normal...unfortunately, it is in our house). Parker is definitely my talker. He repeats EVERYTHING everyone says...especially Colin. He loves to copy Colin! He is even talking in full sentences! He cracks me up all the time with funny things he says. My favorite is when he randomly runs up to me and says "love you mommy". Melts my heart! Parker can be the sweetest thing on this planet! We are learning that he has a little bit of a feisty side too-hopefully not a glimpse into the "terrible twos"!

Parker plays so well by himself. He love to try and "fix" things with tools, take things apart and put them back together, and will sit quietly and read books. He is obsessed with Dora the Explorer, Bubble Guppies, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and loves to sing their theme songs. He gets so excited when either show is on and watches almost the whole thing in one sitting. It is pretty funny to listen to him repeating Spanish words or singing about manners!

I love my sweet boy and love seeing the person he is becoming.

We are still working on our routine around here. Between getting to and from school, nap schedules and this HEAT, my days have been a little hectic! All I really need is a driver...and a chef...and a maid...yep, that would be perfect! We definitely have days full of crying and fighting and trouble making, but luckily there are some cute moments in between that help me remember why I love my job!

Miss Olivia is 2 weeks old today! I still can't believe she is here but at the same time, I can't imagine my life without her! Olivia has her 2 week check up today and is already 7 pounds 15 ounces. Her appointment went great except that she had to get a heel prick...I HATE those! It took them at least 10 minutes to get the blood they needed and she was screaming crying the whole time! Real tears! I just about killed me. Then, to top that off, both of the boys had to get flu shots. By the time we got home (with a quick stop at Dairy Queen for my brave boys) I was drained! Not to mention it was 108 today! Life with three kids is definitely exhausting but I couldn't imagine my life any different. Love these kids of mine!

Welcome Home Olivia!

Luckily, we only had to stay at the hospital for 36 hours so we got to go home Friday afternoon! It felt like I was in the hospital for one LONG day, seriously the longest day of my life! So it was VERY good to be home! And I missed my boys so much! When they came to visit, Colin said he wanted to sleep there with me :) and Parker was a little freaked out being at the hospital. I hated seeing them leave! I couldn't wait to get back to them.

Everyone was so excited to have Olivia home.

I can not get enough of this sweet baby girl! She has been the perfect baby since we have been home. She is awake for maybe 20 minutes a day and eats about every four hours. The rest of the time (which is most of the day) she sleeps! At night she has been amazing. The last few nights, I feed her at about 10:00pm and she has slept until 4:00am!! So crazy, I know! And trust me, I know how lucky I am. Hopefully she will keep it up!

I am also having a ton of fun dressing Olivia up every day! All the pink and bows and ruffles! I can't get enough! She is just so cute! Here are the pictures to prove it ;)

First Day of School

In the middle of Olivia's arrival, Colin started school! He is in Pre-K this year. We went and met his new teacher, Mrs. Lane, on Wednesday and his first day was Friday. There are a few friends from last year in his class and is already making some new ones! He really likes his new teacher and his new classroom. I can't believe how big he is getting!

I was scheduled to be induced in the morning on Thursday 8/18 but was woken up at 11:30 the night before because my water broke! I was a little panicked because I have never gone into labor on my own before. My sisters came over to my house to stay with the boys and Josh and I raced to the hospital. We got there about 12:30. It took a while for them to get me checked in because they had all my information ready for a morning induction-the whole time my contractions were getting stronger and stronger, coming FAST and I was already dilated to 5cm! The whole time, the nurses were paging my doctor but she wasn't answering! When I finally got into a room and got my epidural started (which I started asking for at check-in) it was about 2:00am, I was 7cm and I was seriously miserable and in so much pain. I could kind of feel my epidural kick in but it only starting to work on my right side. This made my contractions seem so much worse because all the pain was concentrated to one side. The anesthesiologist came back in to make some "adjustments" and said if that doesn't work the only other option would be to redo the epidural. By that time, I was fully dilated and ready to push so there was no time to redo the epidural. And they still hadn't gotten a hold of my doctor! So I had to have another doctor deliver her...NATURALLY. Definitely the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. My epidural started working about 5 minutes after Olivia was born. We were at the hospital for less than three hours total by the time she was here.

It was definitely a crazy night but all worth it once our sweet baby girl was here. I am so amazed by how perfect she is. The most beautiful little girl I have ever seen. I am so blessed.

Still My Baby

Parker is 22 months old today. He can definitely sense that some change is coming. He is very clingy and wants me to hold and snuggle him all the time. He even wants to fall asleep on me, which he NEVER does. I love it. I am soaking it in. He is is still my baby...for a few more days at least.

I turned 30 on Monday!

Since I am 9 months pregnant, my day basically consisted of eating :)

and thanks to my Aunts and Mom I got to go to a movie with my sister!

Big Brothers

We are all getting so anxious for our little girl to get here! Especially her brothers :). They love going in her room and looking at her little clothes and little diapers and talking about where she will sleep. Any time someone comes over, Colin asks if they want to see "my baby's room".

She is so lucky that she will have two big brothers who will always love and protect her.

My bag is packed for the hospital, we have diapers and everything else we need. We are ready for you anytime baby girl!

My incredible sisters had the most amazing baby shower for me this weekend. It was all pink pink pink and girlie!! I loved everything about it! Special thank you to my mom, aunts, and grandma for putting so much time and hard work into making my shower so wonderful! 28 Weeks

I'm in my last trimester!!! Time has seemed to fly by this pregnancy. Let's just hope these last few weeks go by just as fast! I have been feeling pretty good these last few weeks but I am starting to get a little uncomfortable, especially in this heat!! Then there are all the fun things like massive heartburn, nausea, and swollen feet if I am standing too long. I still get nauseous if I do too much or go too long without eating. Baby girl kicks ALL the time and hard! I love it but I'm wondering if being so active in my belly is a sign of things to come :). We are haven't picked a name yet; we have a few favorites but nothing is really standing out yet. I really liked how we kept Parker's name a secret so we are going to do that it again this time! No one but Josh and I will know her name until she is born (not even the boys!).

Six Years

Yesterday was our 6th wedding anniversary! We got to celebrate at the amazing wedding of Stephanie and Matt Basiliere. Stephie and I have been friends since seventh grade and I was honored to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. It was such a great way to be reminded of the love and commitment we made to each other six years ago. Even in the middle of their reception, Steph and Matt took the time to wish us a happy anniversary. So sweet and we are so lucky to have them in our lives! Steph and Matt made a stunning bride and groom and we are so happy we get to share our anniversary with them! Our lives have definitely changed a lot in the last six years and I can't wait to see what the next sixty years has in store for us!

We did a little family celebration on Colin's actual birthday but we decided to have a Pirate themed 4th birthday party for all of his little friends from school! All the kids had so much fun! They got to dig for treasure, Sink the Ship with water balloon cannonballs, walk the plank, swim in a pirate ship pool and even go on a treasure hunt! I think this was my favorite theme yet! And most of all, Colin LOVED every minute of the day! He is still asking me why his party has to be over!

Happy 4th Birthday Colin!!

How is it even possible that I have a FOUR year old?!! This year he has seemed to grow up faster than ever. Starting school was the biggest transition during his 3's and boy did it do wonders for him! He went from hardly talking, only saying a few words, to complete sentences within the first few weeks! Now he is carrying on conversations, telling me all about his day and inventing imaginary fight scenes and football games. And somehow, at such a young age, can communicate his feelings so well. He tells me right away if he is nervous, uncomfortable, hungry, tired or even just bored!

Colin is such an athlete so of course his favorite class at school is P.E.! He still loves baseball and is getting really good at riding his bike. We never have a day with out some kind of sword or lightsaber fight. Colin is the best big brother and is so good and helping Parker or teaching him how to do something. He is so excited about having a little sister and talk about how cute she will be and how he and Parker have to be gentile with her. I know he will be so sweet with her! Even being a busy active typical boy, he is my cuddler. I love it! And I'm going to enjoy every minute because I am sure it isn't going to last much longer :(. He amazes me everyday and I feel so lucky to have him in my life and to be his Mom.

Disneyland

For Colin's spring break we took the boys to Disneyland! We were so excited that my sisters, Parents and the Herbert's wanted to come too! Lucky us because we probably couldn't have done two days of Disneyland without our whole group of helpers and entertainers. The boys had the BEST time at Disneyland and especially LOVED spending so much time with Harlow!

Easter Fun

Easter weekend was the start of a very long week of sick kids but we managed to get in some Easter fun before the boys got too miserable.

Colin and Parker left out some carrots for the Easter Bunny and he left them a little note with their baskets!

I think the egg hunt was Colin and Parker's favorite! They wanted to do it over and over!

Saturday we had a big Reay Easter. It was so fun to have all the great grandkids there! I can't believe at the end of this year there will be TEN little kids! So fun to see them all running around having fun. They are all so cute!

Parker Charles

My sweet little baby is a year and a half! Parker still has a very calm and easy going personality but we are definitely starting to get a glimpse of the terrible twos. He tells me no A LOT and likes to insist on doing things himself. He likes to copy his big brother when makes funny faces or silly noises but Parker is very independent. While Colin is off sword fighting and kicking balls, Parker is usually tinkering with something. He loves to take stuff apart and put it back together or try and stack toys up or fit things in little holes. Engineer maybe? He also a loves books and being read to. He loves any kind of music and loves to dance! It is so fun to watch him moving and "snapping" along to the beat with a huge grin on his face.

Parker is talking a bunch and repeats everything! Whenever I ask who is ready for a bath or who wants a snack, Parker is always first to say "Meeeeeeee"! He is still my great sleeper. Thank goodness because I am not quite ready for him to give up his two naps yet :). He is also a really good eater. He is always hungry. Even if he just ate, he wants a snack. Or if you are eating something, you better plan on sharing! He loves juice, apples and carrots. He is really good at feeding himself with a spoon or fork. He has even been eating cereal and yogurt all by himself!

I can't wait to see how Parker is as a big brother. He loves babies and is so sweet with them so hopefully he will be the same way with his baby sister :). Only six more months and this boy will be TWO! I can't believe it!

I am having a GIRL!!!!!

I am 20 weeks today...half way there!

I FINALLY started to feel better at about 18 1/2 weeks. I still have sick days and I am tired A LOT but I am definitely getting my appetite back. Hopefully I am starting to gain back the 10 pounds I lost being so sick! This baby girl is already giving me a hard time but I know it will all be worth it!

This little boy has taken a liking to babies lately. (Hopefully he still likes them in a few months!) I was helping my mom go through some of our dolls and stuffed animals from when my sisters and I were little, and Parker would not leave without this Cabbage Patch doll. He hasn't put it down since. Last week I got to go with Colin's class on a field trip to the Botanical Gardens. It was so fun to hang out with 12 three year olds for the morning! They are all so cute! The butterflies were definitely our favorite part.

There has also been quite a bit of breakdancing going on in our house lately. I have no idea why or where they even picked it up, but both of the boys think it is so hilarious and fun to bust out their moves! Colin is actually kind of good and Parker just makes me laugh my head off. This clip is really short but you can kind of get the idea.

The day after Christmas we drove up to the Cabin for a relaxing couple of days. It was so nice to just read, watch movies, and relax by the fire! The best was the day we went sledding! Colin LOVED every minute of it! Parker...couldn't wait to leave. He that it was cold and the snow was sticking to him :).

We had so much fun getting our Christmas tree last night. The boys thought the tree lot was the best! They were laughing, screaming, running and chasing each other all over!

We picked out the perfect tree! Decorating the tree this year was pretty interesting. Every time we put an ornament on, Parker would take it off, put it in his mouth and then hand it to Colin (who is totally grossed out by slobber). So, needless to say we didn't put many breakable ornaments on this year. Now that the tree is up is is definitely starting to look like Christmas around here! I love it! I love how the tree makes my house smell. I love making yummy treats for friends. I love seeing my kids get so excited about everything!

3 1/2 and 14 months

These boys have definitely been keeping me on my toes lately! And just when I think I am at my limit, Colin randomly says "wove you mom" or Parker will run over and give my a big slobbery kiss. Somehow in a quick second, they can make the crayon on my walls or playing in the toilet bowl not seem so bad. I have really loved seeing Colin and Parker's relationship develop in the last few months. It is so cute and sweet, it make my heart want to burst!

I am amazed at how much Colin has grown up since he started school. It has been the best thing for him. He loves his teacher, Ms. Moore, and has lots of little friends! His favorite class is P.E. (of course!), and has learned how to count in Spanish! I love when he brings his little crafts home for me to put up on the fridge! Colin is such a GREAT big brother!

Parker is literally running around in circles! Such a busy boy! He is officially no longer a bottle baby. I wasn't really planning on it, but we ran out of bottle liners last week and decided to give it a try. The first couple naps and bedtimes were a little hard but now he goes to bed great. He loves to pretend to talk on the phone and says hi/hello. I just taught him to say "hohoho" and he can sing "FaLaLaLaLa". He has TWELVE teeth now including four molars! He is all boy! Parker loves animals and trucks and cars, not so into sports stuff and weapons like his brother. My little P is still sweet! Love him!

On Sunday, Baynie and Nancy invited us to go to a U of A basketball game! Colin LOVED it! He had so much fun yelling "U ah A" and watching the band, the cheerleaders and the players. He hasn't stopped talking about it! After the game, we went to the bookstore and ToTo bought Colin his own U of A basketball! He has been dribbling and shooting EVERY day! The first night he wanted to sleep with his new ball :)

We got to spend a few relaxing days in Mexico last weekend. Kelly even got to come down! It was so fun to go to the beach everyday! The only thing we needed the whole time were pj's and swimsuits! It was the best! I definitely have a couple of beach babes. The boys love the beach!

We did lots of reading and playing in the condo...

...but these boys definitely love being outside!

I can't believe my baby boy is ONE!! Parker brings so much love, joy, and excitement to our lives. He is sweet and quiet but also very busy and energetic! Parker always keeps us on our toes! I feel so lucky to be blessed with such amazing boys in my life!

In true Reay fashion, we threw an AMAZING birthday party for Parker! This party exceeded everything I thought it could be. Thanks to my incredible family and their crazy ideas we put on the best first birthday Party ever! So thank you, thank you, thank you to my parents, Uncle Rod and Aunt Diane, and GG and GPops! I couldn't have done it without all of you!!!

Only 4 more weeks 'till our baby boy turns ONE!!! Our busy boy has quite the collection of bumps and bruises this month. Parker is always falling and bumping his head on things :( . I guess thats what happens with a new walker. He is getting a lot more stable and sturdy and REALLY fast! I have to constantly keep my eyes on this busy boy! He gets into EVERYTHING! If there is a sharp corner or electrical outlet or cord anywhere, he will find it! Parker just gets sweeter and more cute every day! I just love my sweet P and can't imagine our lives without him!

Last week Parker was walking with a bottle in his mouth and split his lip open! Then right before this picture he bumped his eye on the toy box.

He is eating almost everything that we eat now! And he loves to eat. All. Day. Long.

First Day of School!

This year we decided to send Colin to Preschool! We are lucky enough to have him go to Castlehill and I can already tell it is going to be a great experience for him! He is starting off going two days a week for three hours. Today was his first day and of course I was the one that was nervous! We walked in his classroom and he threw me his backpack and went and sat with the other kids. I had to walk over to him and say good-bye! He was a little sad after I picked him up; I think because it was the first time he realized that I wasn't there all day. Be he got over it pretty quickly and started telling me about his day. Hopefully next week will go just as smoothly! I can't believe how big Colin is getting!

On Wednesday we went to meet Colin's teacher, Ms. Moore, and see his class room. Here is colin with his cubby!

We finally had Parker's nine months check up yesterday. Luckily he didn't have to get any shots, just a little finger prick and he didn't even cry! Such a brave boy :). Here are his stats:

Tall and lean and of course his head is on the bigger side because it is full of brains! :)

Colin has grown up so much in the past two months. He has gone from hardly talking to talking non stop, singing songs, making jokes and bossing his brother around! He loves being a big brother. He tells Parker what toys are ok to play with and tells him "no" if he is getting into something he isn't supposed to. Colin also HAS to do everything himself. He gets his own juice box and snack, buckles himself in his seatbelt and gets himself dressed. I thought I would make it easy for him and folded his outfits together in his drawer so they would all be right there for him but every time he gets dressed he goes through all the clothes in the drawer and picks out a shirt and shorts that I didn't have together. Most of the time they match ok but no matter what he doesn't let me help. He has even kicked me out of his room a few times! This is the outfit he put together today...a muscle tee with plaid shorts and backwards Darth Vader hat, and a Yoda key chain on his belt loop. He also had his new favorite shoes on but wouldn't keep them on for the picture because he said they were "too hot". We got him a pair of fireman rain boots last week and he wears them EVERYWHERE. Even to his swim lesson. (Just picture it...swim trunks, not shirt and fire man rain boots. So funny!) I can't believe I let him wear them all over but he loves his "booths" so much how could I say no?!!! Colin also reminds me every night that he doesn't need help taking a bath. He turns on the water, gets all soaped up, gets himself out and puts his pj's on all by himself! Such a big boy!

Probably the best thing Colin has been saying lately is I Love You! He just makes me melt every time! He knows I love it too. The other day he cuddled up next to me and said "wove you Mom". Before I could say anything back he said "cookie?!" Haha! Way to work me over!

nine months

Our Sweet P is already nine months old! He never stops moving and is always trying to keep up with his big brother. I think that is why he is crawling, standing, balancing, and climbing already! I have a little daredevil on my hands. There is not a baby gate he can't get out of! Somehow, no matter what I do, he manages to escape. He even got out of his ExerSaucer last month! He gets into anything that has buttons or electrical wires and for some reason likes get himself stuck in small spaces. This kid is definitely giving me a run for my money!

Parker has seven teeth now! SEVEN! They are popping out all over the place! So far he has four on the top and three on the bottom. I am pretty sure he is going through a growth spirt too because this boy is hungry ALL the time! He loves applesauce, yogurt, sweet potatoes, avocados, goldfish and his new favorite is mac 'n' cheese!

We have another check up in a few weeks so I'll update his stats soon!

Leo turned 5!

Colin and I baked cupcakes and a dog bone cake to celebrate :)

It has been SO HOT lately but the boys still love to be outside!

We had a pretty low-key 4th of July. Just a little swimming, BBQ and fireworks.

Colin had his first dentist appointment yesterday! Our awesome dentist/cousin did magic tricks and gave colin a prize at the end! Thanks Michael for making Colin's first experience at the dentist a good one!

Bayine came over to visit and she and Colin did a little reading together :)

This boy is getting so big he obviously needed a muscle T to show off his guns. Thanks auntie Dee! (sorry, I know he is flipping off the camera but he looks so cute :)

Road Trip to Cali

A few weeks ago we took a little road trip out to California with my Mom and sisters. It was a little cramped and crazy with my two little monkeys, but we had a lot of fun!

We stopped in San Diego first and went to the SeaLife Aquarium.

Then, the reason we stopped in San Diego in the first place...

LegoLand!!

Since Colin is 3 he got to drive his own car!

It was pretty funny watching all these little guys driving all over the track. Colin was all over the place at first. He was about to run into this kid and he wasn't even watching :) haha!

He started getting the hang of it!

At the end Colin got his Drivers License!

Obviously the highlight of the day! Colin and a life-size Darth Vader made out of Legos!

Our next stop was LA to see Kelly and drop Tori off for the summer. We got to stop by Ban.do to see where Kelly has been working and where Tori will be interning for the summer!

Of course we had to take some pictures in front of the glitter curtain! My boys were such good sports (like they had a choice!) Parker even let me put a headband on him for a second. (I know-so mean! but at least it wasn't a huge flower or something!)

We all stayed with Kelly in LA. Thanks Kell and roomies for letting us invade and take over your apartment! Colin thought it was pretty fun to sleep on the floor :)

They had just painted one of their walls in the kitchen with chalkboard paint! Perfect for their 3 year old house guest!

It might have been a crazy and exhausting trip but it was all worth it to see these faces for a whole week! xoxo

8 Months

Parker has been busy busy this month! He is crawling so fast that I can't take my eyes off him. He somehow gets himself stuck in small spaces like under chairs and between couches and loves to try and get a hold of electrical cords. He is also pulling himself up on everything! I came in his room about two weeks ago and he was looking at me like this...

I can't believe how fast he is growing! Just today he started letting go of stuff and standing on his own for a quick second!

Parker also went camping for the first time a few weeks ago

I have been really busy this last month and our good camera is broken so I haven't gotten the best pictures. But it isn't very hard to make this boy look cute!

5 Years

It is hard to believe this was only five years ago!

We celebrated our anniversary by going to dinner at Vivace (YUM!) and then we watched our wedding video with Colin and Parker. Colin was naming everyone in the video and then asked where he was ;). I am so thankful for these last five years and I can't wait for the next seventy!

Parker is crawling! He is all over the place, I can't take my eyes off of him for a second!! His poor knees are always red and rug burned but he is loving that he can move! He still has just the one tooth (bottom left). If you look really close you can kind of see it in these pictures. He is getting so big I can hardly carry him in his car seat anymore! He loves sitting in the stroller and is such a good shopper :). I decided to move Parker into Colin's room so we can make Parker's old room into a playroom. They both seem to like sharing a room so far and they definitely love their new playroom! It is so fun to see Colin and Parker together. Colin always makes Parker laugh. It is the cutest thing, he plays peek-a-boo with him and makes funny faces at him and Parker laughs so hard! Even in the car Parker tries to sit forward and watch Colin who is usually doing something silly. I know I'd better soak it up now because I am sure in a few years instead of squeaks and giggles it will be yelling and crying! Parker has been a little attached to me in situations where there are a lot of people. Especially if he can't see me, his bottom lip goes out, his eyes get red and he starts crying. It is pretty normal at his age since he is becoming more and more aware of everything and everyone around him. But for the most part, he is still a happy boy! As of today, Parker is a bottle only baby. No more nursing! It is a little bitter/sweet for me but it was definitely time. Parker is getting so big and was always so distracted every time he nursed. What happened to my little infant?!!

Last week was a pretty big at our house.

On Monday Parker got his first tooth! Poor thing has been teething for what seems like forever and one finally poked through! He is also just about done nursing. This last week he has really not wanted to nurse and like bottles much better. He is also about to start crawling any day! What happened to my little baby?!!

Colin is officially wearing underwear! He has been so good potty training and hasn't had an accident yet! He is still wearing diapers at night but as soon as he wakes up he tells me he has to go! Such a big boy! (I tried to get a cute picture if him in his undies and this is all I got. Hopefully I can get a good one later. Silly boy:)
